Your privacy
Updated November 3, 2026
This notice explains how Unique Life Radio, operated by Benjamin Wordson Global, handles information in its listener apps and website.
Listening and device preferences
You do not need an account to listen. Favourites, volume, sleep-timer settings and announcement preferences are stored on your device or in your browser. The visualizer analyzes broadcast audio on your device; it does not use your microphone.
Song requests and voice shoutouts
When you submit a request, the station receives the first name or nickname you enter, your song and artist choices, any message, and any voice recording you choose to submit. We also store the submission time, recording details and your consent. The microphone is used only after you choose to record and grant permission. Previewing a recording does not submit it; you choose whether to send it.
Requests and recordings are used to manage listener requests and station programming. The station owner can review them. With the consent you give on submission, your name, message or recording may be played on the public broadcast. Request recordings are not offered as a public inbox or public download feed.
Connection and security information
The app and hosting/streaming providers receive connection information such as IP address, browser or device software information, and technical request logs when providing the service. To limit request abuse, the request service stores a one-way hash derived from connection information. Staff account details and sign-in information are used separately to protect station management.
Service providers
Website hosting and storage are provided through OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure. Streaming and station audio services are provided through Asura Hosting. These services process the information needed to deliver radio, store submitted requests and protect the service. Links to other websites, including support or payment pages, are governed by those sites’ privacy notices.
Retention and your choices
Submitted requests and recordings remain in station storage until removed by the station; this version does not automatically delete them after a fixed period. If a recording has been scheduled or broadcast, a copy may also be held on the station audio server. You may ask the station about access or deletion through the support contact below. Removing a stored recording cannot undo a broadcast that has already aired.
You can deny or revoke microphone and notification permissions in your device settings. You can clear local app/browser data to remove local preferences. The app does not include advertising-tracking SDKs, and listener request information is not used by this app to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact Benjamin Wordson Global. Include the approximate date and name used for a request so the station can identify it; do not send passwords.
